Spain is back to the middle ages

The last edition of the famous Spanish magazine “El Jueves” has been removed from the streets. All because of this cover (NSFW)
Copy says: If you get pregnant, this will be the nearest thing to work I’ve ever done
(these are caricatures of the prince and princess of Spain). The cartoon refers to the amount now offered by the Government for every birth in Spain.
This is one of the times I feel ashamed to be Spanish. No surprises here, we are a monarchy in the 21th century. In fact this might be the only magazine who has the guts to laugh at the Royal Family.

I don’t think being a Monarchy makes a country bad — it is perfectly possible to have Monarchy and Democracy at the same time, and a lot of Western European countries do that (and don’t suck).
Censoring to such extents is quite nasty though — where’s free press? :/
The best joke of all this crap is that “El jueves” has never been so read.
I’m in for this issue collectors edition.
I understand they can’t stand the jokes, they have no sense of humour what so ever. Just look at their grey faces.
Viva la revolucion!
The most funny part is that they have a weekly comic about the Royal Family
You can refuse to be Spanish if you want. No problem at all.
After that, monarchy and free press is quite difficult here. The mass media protects clearly the monarchy. Where is the free press on mass media? From my point of view, mass media is not free here long years ago now.
