AJAX WYSIWYG CMS

Or how to make a title by using only acronyms.

It’s called Authenteo and I have to say I haven’t really tried it yet, but it looks quite impressive.

Authenteo

Ouch, I tried it and it made this post the “Firefox 2 – Safari 0”. After some block moving, Firefox crashed with all my new stuff to read tabs on it. Thanks to Firefox 2 session restore, nothing happened. It has also recovered the unsaved text of this post!

About Athenteo, not working too well and it’s way complicated and strange to use, but could be a good foundation for something great in the future.

  1. Licence? says:

Have you read the licence on that thing.

I think it contends for the most consumer unfriendly licence ever.

You break the contract if you don’t give them enough feedback, and you must keep a list of everyone who has had access to your (hosted) beta for six months after commercial release and surrender it upon request.

Not to mention that you’re bound by _American_ ip laws (I suppose this is an attempt to get Europeans for patent infringement :( )

I may be a zealot and it does look nice, but since I work at a CMS company, I don’t want to touch it with a ten foot pole.
